Stephanie Liskey
Stephanie Liskey, Board Member
Stephanie moved to Orlando from Bristol, TN. She has worked in multiple artistic disciplines for her entire career, first encountering William Bartram while working on the Florida Black Bear Scenic Byway master plan in 2010.
Her company, Sailforth (SF), won the Bartram Trail in Putnam County project in 2012. Stephanie designed the logo, branding, interpretive panels, video frame, and brochure for the project. SF created an overall video in 2013, and Phil and Scott (Stephanie’s husband & stepson) shot videos of Sam and Dean at over 30 sites now featured on this website, which SF designed in 2021 (this includes SF’s amazing programmer, Leo Samayoa, who continues to lead programming efforts on the website.)
In 2017, she asked to continue the visual identity developed with Putnam into Volusia County, creating another map brochure sponsored by Stetson University in collaboration with Dr. Tony Abbott. The River of Lakes Heritage Corridor (ROL), a national scenic byway, serves as a “spine” for the disparate BT sites in the brochure. She also produced a ROL/Bartram kiosk at Blue Spring State Park with Dr. Abbott and designed panels for the Bartram Garden at the (Stetson) Institute for Water & Environmental Resilience (IWER), a project led by Clay Henderson.
Sailforth continues create interpretive materials and develop the growing website, also volunteering time to support BT. Bartram’s vision, and the extraordinary people drawn to his work, have been an ongoing source of fascination and inspiration for her.
