We invite you to honor the legacy of Ken Mahaffey, a founding director of the Bartram Trail Society of Florida, whose passion for Florida's natural heritage shaped the organization from its inception in 1978.
Many have been impacted by Ken's efforts who may never have met him. His passion for the Bartram Trail was such that he asked for donations to BTSF instead of flowers at his funeral, and he was deeply involved in numerous community efforts in Palatka, FL.
A devoted hiker, paddler, and amateur historian, Ken spent decades marking trail sites, leading river tours, and sharing his love of the St. Johns River.
We're raising funds in Ken's name to continue the work he championed throughout his life. Your donation will help us continue building the trail in Florida, ensuring that Ken's vision of preserved trails along Bartram's historic route lives on.
