Bartram Trail Conference

The Bartram Trail Society of Florida is thrilled that the 2025 Bartram Trail Conference will be held in St. Augustine, Florida. John and William Bartram visited this city in October 1765. This conference is held every other year (biennial), and it has been a while since it last came to Florida!

All events will be held at the Ringhaver Student Center, located at 59 Sevilla Street on the historic Flagler College campus.

The conference begins on Friday, Aug 1, with a FREE Building the Trail Workshop from 1-4 PM.
If you’re interested in or involved in developing the Bartram Trail in Florida, please register for this workshop so we can plan accordingly. This workshop presents methods that have been successfully used in creating the existing Bartram Trails around the Southeast. We have already spoken to representatives from every county involved, but the opportunity is open to anyone interested in the development of these trails, and we need everyone to register.

The full conference offers a symposium,  banquet, paddling tours, film screening, and optional tours and recreation on Sunday. Events are à la carte for those who want to pick and choose, and you can select the Trails workshop as you register for any other part of the conference.
