SUMMARY:Bartram Trail Conference
DESCRIPTION:The Bartram Trail Society of Florida is thrilled that the 2025 Bartram Trail Conference will be held in St. Augustine\, Florida. John and William Bartram visited this city in October 1765. This conference is held every other year (biennial)\, and it has been a while since it last came to Florida! \nAll events will be held at the Ringhaver Student Center\, located at 59 Sevilla Street on the historic Flagler College campus. \nThe conference begins on Friday\, Aug 1\, with a FREE Building the Trail Workshop from 1-4 PM.\nIf you’re interested in or involved in developing the Bartram Trail in Florida\, please register for this workshop so we can plan accordingly. This workshop presents methods that have been successfully used in creating the existing Bartram Trails around the Southeast. We have already spoken to representatives from every county involved\, but the opportunity is open to anyone interested in the development of these trails\, and we need everyone to register. \nHere is the registration link for those who want to attend the Trails workshop without registering for other parts of the conference: https://bartramtrailconference.wildapricot.org/event-6215375/Registration \nDon’t miss this chance for an intensive exchange with like-minded scholars\, environmentalists\, artists\, authors\, and storytellers about our favorite Flower Hunter! \nThe full conference offers a symposium\,  banquet\, paddling tours\, film screening\, and optional tours and recreation on Sunday. Events are à la carte for those who want to pick and choose\, and you can select the Trails workshop as you register for any other part of the conference. \nFor the overview and full or partial registration visit: https://bartramtrailconference.wildapricot.org/event-6211200 \nCheck out the program for an overview of the day \nFor more details behind the offerings\, check out the Bartram Conference Newsletter \nIf you have any questions about the conference\, contact: admin@bartramtrail.org
